Brief Overview/Description
The Trauma-Informed Primary Care: Fostering Resilience and Recovery change package, has been used to enhance the trauma informed approach of the HIV Program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. This presentation discusses the national context and details about trauma-informed care; what efforts the Trauma-Informed Care Task Force within the HIV Program has been making; and explores ways in which we can enhance compassion resilience in the workforce to help reduce burnout and compassion fatigue, as well as provide optimized care to patients.
