Sarah Edwards is the Community Program Lead under the Drug Overdose Prevention Program at the Rhode Island Department of Health. In this role she leads programmatic overdose prevention and harm reduction initiatives as well as the implementation and management of all Mobile Outreach contracts. Ms. Edwards coordinates statewide efforts with community partners to increase harm reduction and overdose prevention strategies and identify high burden areas to provide targeted interventions.
Nathaniel Fuchs, MPH is a Principal Public Health Epidemiologist in the Substance Use Epidemiology Program (SUEP) at the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH). At RIDOH, Mr. Fuchs leads the surveillance of non-fatal opioid overdose data. Mr. Fuchs works to integrated multiples sources of overdose data, making them actionable by developing alerts and communicating trends to community partners and the public.
