Erica Romero, MPH is a Californian turned Rhode Islander who graduated with her Masters in Public Health focusing on Maternal and Child Health and Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota. She has been an Epidemiologist with the State of Rhode Island for six years, initially working at the Department of Children, Youth, and Families before accepting a role with the Rhode Island Department of Health on the Comprehensive Suicide Prevention grant where her work focuses on examining trends and evaluating programming geared to help males age 25-64 who are disproportionally impacted by suicide.
