Philip A. Chan, MD, is Medical Director of the only publicly funded sexually transmitted diseases (STD) clinic in Rhode Island, as well as Rhode Island’s only dedicated Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Program.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the epidemiology of HIV in the United States
- Review clinical efficacy of PrEP for HIV prevention
- Review current clinical PrEP recommendations
